We tend to only stock the breed or breeds that are in our opinion perfect at the time. We don’t see the need to give a vast list of breeds – we’d rather be fully confident in the one or two that we offer. We occasionally use ‘rare breeds’ of a particular meat, but not at the cost of eating quality.
Our meat is highly ethically reared and sourced – we only source from those with animal welfare as high on the agenda as us. Full traceability and impeccable hygiene is a minimum ‘must have’ from all our suppliers. Under the Quality Meat assurance scheme our partners farms are regularly visited and audited, and the farmers are guaranteed a fair deal with immediate payment.
