As with all our beef, the braising cuts come from our carefully sourced, excellent quality Scottish beef. As these cuts come from harder working parts of the cow, it does mean they require longer, slowing cooking, but you are rewarded with tender, flavoursome results. Delicious braised as they are, with onions and mushrooms in a rich gravy, or ideal for dicing to whatever size you require for classic dishes such as Beef & Ale Casserole or Beef Bourguignon.
